What Am Not & What I Am

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , on April 24, 2016 by thecockneybard

Not one who is interested in being labelled or put in a box. Don’t belong to any organisations, never been taught, had a guru, master, read books on the subject etc. Teach everyone we all have the ability of the sixth sense & healing & that it is innate within all mankind. Only interested in fact. Don’t care for the words paranormal, medium, psychic, master, supernatural etc & not a spiritualist. Love & light, fairies, aliens & new age not for me either. Love the Shakespeare authorship question. I am an author, poet & philosopher. Appeared on TV & radio a few times. If you would like to know more

God Bless England & St George

HAPPY ST GEORGES DAY TO EVERYONE

On this special day I thank Ben Jonson, Sir Francis Bacon, Dr John Dee, John Florio, Christopher Marlowe & the many others for their contribution to the great book of Enlightenment the 1623 First Folio of William Shakespeare. The great enigmatic bard adored by millions. I hope & pray that sonnets 144 & 86 will one day be seen through my eyes for the enrichment of man’s understanding.

I also thank my beautiful wife for having endured the tough road to enlightenment on this our wedding day. Twelve years ago this day we had the most magical, incredible medieval wedding with jousting knights & all. Our bringing together was truly destined as our magical wedding tale will testify.

A REMARKABLE WEDDING TALE – ST GEORGES DAY 2004

We have never had a single date and have been married 12 years today. I predicted from seeing just a photograph of her in November 2002 that I would get engaged to her on the 14th Feb 2003 and we would be married on the 23rd April 2004 in a televised medieval wedding. I even bought an engagement ring and booked two flight tickets to Edinburgh (Rosslyn Chapel) for the special occasion of which she knew absolutely nothing about. Without even having had a date or being a couple. Could it really happen? A millions to one shot. What a mad fool I was! However fate was kind and it became reality. It was indeed televised by both the BBC & ITV on a glorious sunny day. If you think predicting the future is nonsense, well we are living proof it isn’t! Lucky I am indeed to have such a beautiful wife.

And Life has fired, and Death not shaded, All Time’s uncounted bliss, And the height o’ the world has flamed and faded, Love, that our love be this! – Rupert Brooke

May God bless England & St George!

*for all those who think St George is not English, he isn’t. He like the dragon is allegorical!

What is love?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , on April 21, 2016 by thecockneybard

Love is a very special thing. Only when you truly find it can you know what it is! Love comes in many forms. The love of a partner, of a parent, the love of a child, the love of a friend, the love of humanity, the love of ones self.

I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled poets to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean. – Socrates

What do I know a simple Cockney?

SONNET 144
Two loves I have of comfort and despair,
Which like two spirits do suggest me still;
The better angel is a man right fair,
The worser spirit a woman colour’d ill.
To win me soon to hell, my female evil
Tempteth my better angel from my side,
And would corrupt my saint to be a devil,
Wooing his purity with her foul pride.
And whether that my angel be turn’d fiend
Suspect I may, but not directly tell;
But being both from me, both to each friend,
I guess one angel in another’s hell:
Yet this shall I ne’er know, but live in doubt,
Till my bad angel fire my good one out.

Shakespeare experts tell you this is about a gay lover & a dark lady Shakespeare’s two loves. I will tell you it is about the mind. I know it is about the mind. Clue for anyone who doubts what I say BUT BOTH BEING FROM ME.

Shakespeare and what he hath left us a famous tribute from Ben Jonson to Shakespeare from the first folio 1623. This has lots of clues the biggest one although there are plenty is when he says
To draw no envy, Shakespeare, on thy name,
Am I thus ample to thy book and fame;

AM I THUS AMPLE TO THY BOOK AND FAME

The truth, but gropes, and urgeth all by chance;
Or crafty malice might pretend this praise,
And think to ruin, where it seem’d to raise.

CRAFTY MALICE MIGHT PRETEND THIS PRAISE

Or, for the laurel, he may gain a scorn;
For a good poet’s made, as well as born;

FOR A GOOD POET’S MADE AS WELL AS BORN

If you love the works of Shakespeare and believe he wrote 36 plays & 154 sonnets, had a great knowledge of over 30 different subjects. Had two loves a young gay lover & a dark lady good luck to you. I cannot!

Not without right? Not without mustard!

Do I believe it was one person from Bacon, Oxford, Marlowe, Shakespeare et al? Nay, nay thrice nay!

What do I know a simple Cockney? Only this ‘There is no flaw or no contradiction in Truth’.

Voices in the head – the next level

Like Blake, Shelley, Keats, Shakespeare, Plato, Brooke and many others before me I too have been greatly inspired by the voices in the head. Receiving wonderful poetry, philosophy and insight. I have studied the subject for over 20 years. The voices have fed me with intelligence ref to this is made in sonnet 86 Shakespeare & sonnet 144. Its understanding is a complexity but I have proven it is far more than simply explained by mental illness. My gift/abilities have been described as phenomenal but to me it is an innate natural ability we all as human beings have. It is the ability to control the voices good & bad which determine the quality or destructiveness to pen or act on those voices. To further an education of the said subject you must certainly look beyond current understanding.

Problem in ‘expert’ analysis of the Sonnets

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on April 11, 2016 by thecockneybard

Shakespeare  ‘experts’ claim in analysing this sonnet it is about Shakespeare’s two loves, one a young man & one the dark lady. Never heard so much tosh. Poem is obviously about the MIND and the clue is in line 11 BUT BOTH BEING FROM ME. They need to revamp their thinking when they hear about me. Especially in the understanding of this sonnet 144 & sonnet 86.

Two loves I have of comfort and despair,
Which like two spirits do suggest me still:
The better angel is a man right fair,
The worser spirit a woman colour’d ill.
To win me soon to hell, my female evil
Tempteth my better angel from my side,
And would corrupt my saint to be a devil,
Wooing his purity with her foul pride.
And whether that my angel be turn’d fiend
Suspect I may, yet not directly tell;
But being both from me, both to each friend,
I guess one angel in another’s hell:
Yet this shall I ne’er know, but live in doubt,
Till my bad angel fire my good one out.
