Difficult subject to write about but my thoughts on the Holocaust

The origin of the word Holocaust is interesting. Holocaust (n.) mid-13c., “sacrifice by fire, burnt offering,” from Greek holokauston “a thing wholly burnt,” neuter of holokaustos “burned whole,” from holos “whole” (see holo-) + kaustos, verbal adjective of kaiein “to burn.” Originally a Bible word for “burnt offerings. Millions of people were killed by the Nazis including Freemasons, Disabled you name it. It wasn’t just a Jewish disaster as terrible as that is. I wish people would speak of it as it was a Nazi genocide on millions of people belonging to all parts of the human race!
