Simply a pen?

I am probably one of the few people ever to admit that their works are not in many cases their own but from an extraneous source I call the ‘muse’. Many famous writers have tapped into this inspiration but claimed the work for their own, when in reality they were merely the pen as am I. They feared ridicule and persecution but the work speaks for itself. You cannot ridicule quality. Here are some names for you … Agatha Christie, William Blake, Keats, Shelley, Yeats, Rupert Brooke, Kipling, Shakespeare, Da Vinci, Plato and many, many more. Not all their pieces could be considered from this muse but the ones that are truly stand out. The question is are great writers, artists, poets ever that great or is the muse their ‘friend’ just hidden from public view?
