Thought of the day

On Religion I am left to wonder whose God (if any truly exist) is better than the next one? Whose peoples are superior to anothers? Whose heaven and whose hell will bring the dead its true understanding? I am left to wonder how a book can have so much influence and so much power, that it can totally dominate an individual’s thought process for good or bad. It can be so full of hope or bring such hatred. Its words are written by man and believed to be from an unknown power, of which its source is so pure, but yet is so full of contradiction. The fickle, misguided human being unable to bring themself to the point of reason, choose to believe all before them. I would like to believe in the Holy book and all its content. I would like to understand the Holy book and all its content but I simply can’t. – The Cockney Bard
